Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme (Application for 2019 Closed)

The NTU Institute of Science and Technology for Humanity (NISTH) Postdoctoral Fellowship programme (PDF) is a programme that will bring new scholars to NTU with the aim of enhancing teaching and research on the impacts of science and technology.

About the NISTH Postdoctoral Fellowship

NISTH PDF scheme provides support of up to two years to recent PhD graduates who demonstrate outstanding promise in research and teaching in their fields of study. By offering new scholars the opportunity to develop research publications, hone their teaching, and network with academics, the scheme serves as a bridge between the scholars’ doctoral training and their entry into faculty careers. The Fellowship is part of NISTH’s effort to promote interdisciplinary learning and research and the excellent resources across the University serve to enhance the training of new scholars as interdisciplinary investigators.

The postdoctoral fellowships are for one year, renewable for a second year, subject to satisfactory performance. Appointed fellows may be required to assist in teaching up to the equivalent of one semester-based course per academic year.

NISTH typically invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships commencing in  Semester 2 of each Academic Year. Successful candidates will be affiliated with one or more  of the schools in NTU, Singapore.
